ICEM and Intel Announce New Performance Breakthrough with new 45nm multi-core Intel Xeon processor

ICEM, the leading provider of styling, high-quality surface modelling and rendering solutions and Intel Corporation, the world’s largest chip maker, today announced a new performance breakthrough in design visualization software for use in the design development of a wide range of manufactured products. ICEM and Intel collaborated to optimize the leading performance of the Quad-core Intel Xeon Processor 5400 Series with ICEM solutions in order to benefit from the latest technological improvements such as high clock frequency & fast and huge bandwidth. Those improvements will accelerate the adoption of Intel technologies by ICEM for its leading applications & developments.

??Designing real time high quality rendering & modelling software has always been a challenge. With the advent of complex and ultra realistic 3D models, the computational horsepower requirement has dramatically increased.
