At this year's Siggraph, the team at nPower have Star Trek Calendar artist Mark Rademaker presenting his Power NURBS modeling workflow on his latest Federation ship, as well as, signing posters from his latest design. They will also have resident artist Eric Pinkel presenting his car modeling project live and signing his nPower Harley poster.

In addition, nPower will also be unveiling two new products: Power Surfacing and Power Translator For Maya. Power Surfacing integrates the world’s leading edge NURBS surface modeling technology into the heart of Autodesks 3ds Max. The combination of nPower NURBS Surface Modeling combined with 3ds studio's Mesh Deformation technology, UI, animation and rendering provide one of the most sophisticated 3d Design concept environments available.

Power Surfacing enables users to quickly sketch out ideas with a free form NURBS curve network. It's possble to easily blend or multi rail sweep curves into complex interconnected organic shapes, re-sculpt form on the fly and project curves onto any NURBS surface to extrude, emboss or trim in new design features.
